HUNDREDS of Guides took part in the annual Thinking Day Services across East Lancashire.
Services were held at St John's, Crawshawbooth, All Saints Church, Earby, and St John Southworth Church, Nelson. Taking part in the services, at which the renewal of the Guides' promise was given, were Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and leaders from the various divisions.
Guests included former members of the Guiding movement, members of the Scout association and local civic leaders.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
