AN internal inquiry was launched by the police complaints authority into the Masonic dinner dance case in which two innocent businessmen were assaulted. Blackburn MP Jack Straw demanded a full independent inquiry into the extent of Freemasonry within Lancashire Constabulary and called on the chief constable to purge his force of Freemasonry.
