A NEW advice manual written by teenagers for Lancashire teenagers has been launched.
The 128-page What Now? guide has sections on employment, training, travel, drugs, equal opportunities, housing, benefits and relationships.
It is aimed at 16 to 19-year-olds and each district in Lancashire now has its own version.
The What Now? initiative has developed over the last few years to include a helpline, advice shop and website.
The helpline service, which operates from 4pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, is now being sold to 25 other local authorities. The What Now? book is written by teenagers in a language they understand. It is available in libraries, schools or local councils.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
