POLICE are appealing for a driver to come forward after a schoolgirl was injured in a road accident.
The 15-year-old girl was crossing Castle Road, Colne, on Tuesday when she was in collision with a BMW car.
She was thrown on to the bonnet and then on the roof of the car but was not badly hurt.
The driver asked if the girl was al right and then drove off. She later received treatment for minor injuries.
The driver was in his late 30s, white, thin, 6ft tall with dark hair and in a blue or purple car.
