THE St Helens Sound team would like to thank everyone who took part, supported or advertised with us during our recent broadcast on 106.3 FM.
We believe St Helens Sound is real community access radio and we intend to apply for a full-time community licence. To strengthen our campaign, we need your help. Whether you listened to the broadcast or not, if you have an opinion on what you would want from your own station, whether it be music or speech content, or programmes you feel should be included, let us know.
If you did listen, then we need to know your views on the broadcast, good or bad, on the programmes you heard in order for us to improve our future services.
If we are to have our own station in St Helens, then it is very important that the community gets involved by letting us know what you want, so that our programmes reflect your needs.
Letters in support of a full-time community station in St Helens would also be appreciated as we can forward these to the Radio Authority. All correspondence should be addressed to: Collette Byrne, St Helens Sound, Room J208, SKB Building, St Helens College, Water Street, St Helens WA10 1PZ. Letters can also be left at reception at the town centre campus, Brook Street,.
Collette Byrne, assistant manager, St Helens Sound.
