AFTER fostering 135 children, adopting five and having two of her own, Joycelyn Hindle is definitely a mum-in-a-million.
Caring Joycelyn, 54, of Cromwell Road, Ribbleton, has been tipped for a top award after winning a place in the finals of the Safeway Supermum Awards 1999. As a specialist foster carer Joycelyn, and husband George, have looked after visually impaired and Down's Syndrome youngsters and children who have suffered abuse.
Joycelyn, pictured with store manager David Jannaway, was nominated for the award by proud daughter Lisa, who says her mum has more than enough love to go round and is an ideal candidate for the title.
Joycelyn said: "Sometimes it hasn't been easy but we've always loved children and I've enjoyed being a mum. All it really takes is patience, lots of love and plenty of cuddles."
