WIGAN and Leigh College is seeking volunteers desperate for a new look.
Second year BTEC beauty students at the Leigh campus Image Centre need 'guinea pigs' to help them with their course, which includes a unit on human nutrition, metabolism and diet.
Part of this requires them to plan and carry out realistic dietary advice for customers.
The students have already covered the theory, but now need clients to help with the practical work.
As a result a free diet, lifestyle analysis and advice clinic is planned on March 3 at the Image Centre, Walmesley Road, from 9am to 11am in the top floor science lab.
It will offer an initial consultation and goal setting with ideas for improving the diet, suitable exercise and activities, treatments and monitoring.
Anyone who would like to take part should contact Sue Clarke or Norma Meadows on 761121.
