I SEE Scary Spice has followed the trend to find the silliest name possible for a new baby.
She has named her sprog Phoenix Chi, almost as daft as the Geldof offsprings' Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches and a third I can't summon to memory, but perhaps not as bad as Frank Zappa's unfortunate Moon Unit.
Funny how fashion for names change. New parents wouldn't dream of calling a baby the old fashioned names from the turn of the century today - like Cyril, Albert, Agnes, Maud etc.
You can understand why, can't you? They just don't suit a bouncing bundle. Mind you neither do some of the TV soap names picked upon these days.
I never liked my own name as a child, it's only as an adult I've grown into it.
