LOWTON paranormal writer, Peter Hough, and co-author Jenny Randles have updated their successful 1996 publication "Life After Death and The World Beyond".
The book, now re-printed in large format paperback, complements the duo's previous work "The Afterlife".
Peter said: "This one focuses more on what the 'other side' might be like if it really does exist,
"We examined the claims of mediums, near death percipients and those claiming to have had encounters with angels, the Virgin Mary and spirits of the dead, to determine their credibility.
"We carried out our own experiments into past lives with the assistance of my good friend Dr Moyshe Kalman, with some intriguing results."
One area of fascination for Peter is ITC-instrumental communication.
This involves written messages, voices and pictures supposedly transmitted from the afterlife onto audio and video tape, computers and even fax machines!
He said: "I am certain that some examples of this phenomenon are genuine, but during the course of our research I uncovered what I am certain is a fraud. The elements of one story matched in fine detail the plot of a science fiction novel I had read many years ago. This could not be coincidence, but I wonder who is hoaxing whom?"
The book is published by Paitkus at £12.99.
