STAFF and customers at Bury's Plumb Center have helped raise £2,200 for leukaemia research.
The money was raised at events organised by the Bolton Road Trading Estate-based company's customer club, "Extra".
The money will help the Children with Leukaemia Fund, located near London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, for research into the causes and cures of the illness.
The money was presented to the fund by sales director Steve Young.
Plumb Center is a major supplier of plumbing and heating equipment to plumbing and building industries in the area.
