Four people have been charged with drugs offences following a police operation targeting suspected dealers.
Police seized substances believed to be heroin after arresting five men and two women in Blackburn town centre and at a house in Great Harwood at around 9pm on Saturday.
All seven were quizzed by detectives from Blackburn CID over the weekend and three men and one woman were due to appear before Blackburn magistrates today charged with a variety of drugs offences.
Two woman and a man have been released without charge on police bail, pending further inquiries.
The seized drugs have been sent to police headquarters in Preston to be tested by forensic experts.
