REGARDING recent views on homosexuality in Your Letters, it's always interesting that, when Christians quote the Bible they always take little segments that express what they want to believe, but ignore the what goes before or after, thus presenting a distorted view.

Romans - a letter by St Paul, not Christ - appears to say that the Christian God imposed homosexuality on mankind as a punishment for worshipping false gods.

Since it seems logical that God would not punish one sin by forcing the sinner to commit another, he must not consider homosexuality a sin.

By the same token, it seems wrong that modern-day Christians should seek to further punish homosexuals for doing what God is making them do.
