IN reply to Mrs Chris Wilkin-Wyke (Letters, February 9), who regards the Rev Kevin Logan's views on homosexuality as bigotry, being a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian, I am only too pleased to see that Mr Logan is true to his calling, stating his belief in the same god and holy scripture as I.
Had he - like some of his calling - denied the existence of God and the church's true position on the inspiration of holy scripture, yet continued to draw his stipend, would he not be wanting it both ways?
That is, enjoying the freedom of dissent as well as the comfort of the institution?
It appears that, in this politically-correct age, any disapproval of homosexuality is an attack on the person.
Not being homosexual, or of any other tendency, it is, I believe, God's concern, but what we do with such people matters to him - otherwise, we're all lost.
