LISTENING to the comments of so-called fans on Radio Rovers after the match against Sheffield Wednesday, it is obvious that most of these people can play the game better than our players, and quite a few could even manage the team better than Brian Kidd.

Does it matter how much a player is paid as to how fit he should be? If he is paid £10 or £10,000 a week, he still only has the one body and mind and these can become very tired indeed with the amount of travelling, training and playing they have to do.

Or do these "fans" just think 90 minutes is all they players have to do to obtain their wages?

We all have seats in the Blackburn End Stand - the True Blue supporters' end. But after all the boos after the first half against Sheffield, we felt ashamed to be part of this area.

Surely, when the team is struggling, this is the time to get behind the lads and not boo them, we urge you to try through the columns of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph to show them the errors of their ways, and get them behind the team and help them to survive.
