YOUR correspondent "humanist" (Letters, February 24) states that "what individuals choose to do in bed should be private and not up for debate."
I agree, it should not.
However, what is up for debate is why should I (and many others) be apprehensive when using a public convenience.
Would "humanist" care to explain why, for instance, the relatively new and expensive (no doubt) public conveniences were closed and demolished at the Load of Mischief in Clayton-le-Moors? It gets difficult driving with crossed legs.
