LEIGH RU scored a couple of quickfire tries to take Fleetwood by storm.

The first try was set up by Lawrence Brickland for Stephen Lee to score.

Then, before anyone had chance to draw breath, Jim Bridge held a misjudged kick and swept in for the TD. Mark Hudspith added both goals.

Ross Fletcher added a third try soon after the break, but Fleetwood hit back with two converted tries and a penalty to edge ahead.

Hudspith kept his cool, however, and, given the chance, he slotted over the winning penalty.

Brickland had his best game for the club while Chris Whittle was a tower of strength in the pack.
