THE Fox Street Community Centre is cooking up a treat for people living on the streets of Preston, thanks to British Aerospace's generosity.
BAe has donated a cooker to the centre's soup kitchen, which feeds up to 50 people a night.
Founded in 1989 the centre, which employs 20 volunteers, offers a round-the-clock service which accommodates up to 40 people a night.
Steve McGougan, Fox Street manager, said: "We believe that it is our duty to look after the homeless people in the Preston district.
"It is only with the help and support of companies like BAe that we are able to offer a service which goes some way to meeting residents' needs."
