I SEE from your article (LET, February 27) that Burnley Council has prudently set aside money for costs incurred by the "planned transfer" of its council houses to a local housing company.
I was under the impression that tenants were to vote about the transfer. Have I missed reading about the vote?
Has the Council decided to transfer the houses whatever the tenants vote?
If the vote is for the houses to remain in the Council's possession, will the reserved money then be used to upgrade the houses which have not yet had attention?
Answers please.
