WHEN it comes to taking care of our four legged friends, Anchorsholme Primary is the leader of the pack.
Pupils beat off competition from 16 Blackpool schools to scoop this year's top title in the annual campaign for responsible dog owners, including Sarah Campbell and Bullmastiff Boss (pictured).
Those taking part were taught the importance of a dog's wellbeing and their responsibility for clearing up after them before being quizzed by environmental health staff about what they had learned.
Certificates were presented to the best three pupils from each school and a trophy went to Anchorsholme for the best overall school.
