YOUNGSTERS in the area, are you any good at sport? Do you fancy your chances at the International Youth Games in Aalborg in Denmark.
Lancaster and Morecambe & District Sports Council want you to contact them if you fancy your chances for trials.
You must be aged 14 to 16 at the time of the games, i.e. born between January 1 1983 and December 31 1985. You must live in the Lancaster district, i.e. a parent or guardian pays council tax to Lancaster city council. If you live outside the district you must be in full-time education at a school in the Lancaster district. Applicants can apply to be in trials for more than one sport but can only represent one sport during the games.
Football, Cricket, rugby and table tennis will be for boys only, while volleyball will be for girls only. The remaining sports will have mixed teams.
