STAFF training at Holy Cross College has been recognised by an Investors in People award.
It is the culmination of two years' work to boost skills and professional expertise and improve the service to students.
MP David Chaytor presented the award to college principal Mr Mike O'Hare during a visit last Friday.
Ms Ann Taverner, the college's staff development manager, said better trained workers would help the college provide a better service to the community.
She added: "Receiving the award is a credit to our staff and reflects on their commitment and performance."
