RAINHILL High School will be holding a Study Day for parents, support assistants, teachers and governors, to look at practical ways of supporting children with learning difficulties in school.
The event will take place at the school in Warrington Road, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, March 20. Speakers will be Dr Chris Singleton, from the Department of Psychology at University of Hull and author of CoPS (Cognitive Profiling System; Olwen El Naggar, author of Specific Learning Difficulties and Mathematics; and Jeff Hughes, Independent Chartered Educational Psychologist and member of the British Dyslexia Association Computer Committee.
There will also be a display of books and computer resources from SEN Marketing and Special Needs Computing.
Tickets cost £12 and are available by post from Box 42, St Helens, WA10 3BF (cheques payable to Box 42). Visa and MasterCard Payments are also accepted on 0151 426 9988.
