KNUZDEN Youth are on their travels once again.
They will be attending a residential football festival for the 12th time at Easter. The third generation of boys playing at Under-12s level will be at Blackpool Spring Football Festival for the week at Easter.
The conduct of the various teams over the years has resulted in winning the outstanding sports team trophy on no less than four occasions. Help once again has come from various sponsors - coach supplier HSG Garage Services, new kit from Knuzden Supermarket, new training tops from Blackburn Bolts and new footballs from Landcraft.
Knuzden's squad is: Gordon McKay (captain), Danny Maxwell, Lee Harrison, James Booth, Robert Douthwaite, John Scott, Michael Khan, Robbie Miller, Lee Clayton, David Yardley and John Georgy.
The first generation of players from 1990 will be once again attending the Umbro Manchester International Football Festival competing at Under-19s level in July against teams from all over the world.
The last time this team competed, they reached the quarter-finals despite only taking 11 players.
