POLICE investigating the discovery of a badly burned body in a house in Queen's Park Road, Blackburn, yesterday have confirmed that the dead man was 28-year-old Ismail Mulla.
Detective Inspector Tim Jacques said a post mortem examination was carried out by a Home Office pathologist yesterday and Mr Mulla's identity was confirmed using dental records.
Mr Jacques went on: "Following the post mortem examination we are happy there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and have concluded our investigations.
"The death has been reported to the coroner."
Officers from Lancashire fire brigade and forensic officers from Lancashire police were involved in the investigation.
