AN ENTREPRENEUR based in East Lancashire has caused a stir after claiming he has discovered a wonder remedy which will spark a sexual revolution.
Trained chemist Simon Campbell is boss of a Clitheroe company which is marketing a herbal alternative to Viagra.
And his firm has already made the headlines just weeks after the herbal remedy designed to perk up flagging sex lives hit the shelves.
Stories about the 'drug' have appeared in national newspapers and Simon claims he has been running a series of trials of the drug with a number of clients with sexual problems.
According to the Clitheroe businessman, the volunteers include scores of celebrities, many of them household names.
And their most intimate secrets stored on a computer tape went missing when Simon's suitcase was stolen from The Calf's Head pub in Worston, near Clitheroe.
He said: "There has been massive interest. We have taken on extra staff to cope with the demand and the orders have not stopped rolling in since the launch."
The Ribble Valley businessman is also convinced about the potency of his concoction.
He said: "I first heard about the remedy when I bumped into someone at a social event.
"The remedy went on trial for several months and we had massive successes. Viagra has short term effects but our remedy works over a long sustained periods.
"People who had major problems with their love lives said the improvements were dramatic. Many of those who agreed to be involved in the trials said they have been given a new lease of life.
"There are lots of potions and remedies which go on the market which are a complete con. Ours is nothing like them."
Only time will tell whether the herbal remedy, marketed by Sentinal Health, will have as big an impact as the wonder remedy drug Viagra.
