EAST Lancashire went comic relief crazy to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for East Africa charities and needy youngsters and pensioners at home.
Four curates took part in a marathon cornflake sit-in in Morrison's, Blackburn, for the appeal, which beat the previous total of £15.8 million raised nationwide.
