THIS week's Memorial Sunday League tables show drastic changes from last week due to an LFA ruling which states that six point matches cannot be played.
The league positions have had to be adjusted accordingly.
Once again bad weather decimated this week's programme with only four of the scheduled 11 matches played.
In Division One, with the leaders Heys Inn and De Lacy without games, the Plough took full advantage through a narrow 2-1 win over Rishton Arms. This result lifts them into second place and now makes the honours placings into a three horse race, although Stanhill Lions would not agree after they beat Apeks Lower Darwen 6-1. This results lifts them into fifth place with games in hand.
Only one match was played in Division Two and bottom club Crown Scaffold put their shooting boots on at last and beat promotion hopefuls Brownhill Arms 3-2. This result does not lift them off the bottom rung, but puts them closer to at least three other clubs in a similar position.
Division Three saw only one match played also, and the one point that United Social Club got in their 2-2 draw with Oswaldtwistle Refugees lifts them one place above LS Roofing. Results - Division One: Rishton Arms 1, Plough 2; Stanhill Lions 6, Apeks Lower Darwen 1.
Division Two: Brownhill Arms 2, Crown Scaffolds 3.
Division Three: Oswaldtwistle Refugess 2, United SC 2.
Fixtures for Sunday - Division One: Accrington Sports v Rishton Arms (Wilsons); Heys Inn v De Lacy Arms (Wilsons); Holehouse v Clarence Hotel (Wilsons); Judge Walmsley v Apeks Lower Darwen (Roefield); Swan, Whalley v Stanhill Lions (Whalley).
