THE Weavers Triangle Visitors Centre in Burnley has been presented with a Green Lantern Project certificate after taking part in a Lancashire County Council environmental scheme.
The centre was offered a free environmental review and gained the certificate for taking up recommendations like installing high efficiency lighting to help them save money.
Manager Brian Hall was among business from across the county to receive a certificate at the annual Lancashire Tourism Forum.
Chairman Anthony Goldstone said: "We are delighted to help tourism businesses go green. I congratulate these operators for achieving these awards and taking part in the Green Lantern Project.
"They have all achieved financial savings for their businesses and at the same time enjoyed environmental benefits."
