GENEROUS regulars at a Pendle pub are just "champion" after choosing a local charity to benefit from fund-raising events throughout the year.
Customers at the Shepherd's Arms, Church Street, Colne, have a full diary of events planned, starting with a Champions League raffle which will be drawn on Wednesday during the second leg tie between Manchester United and Inter Milan.
Top prizes are football shirts from both clubs along with other soccer-related items.
Money raised by the draw and other events will go to Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
Raffle tickets have been on sale at the Shepherd's and Pendleside Hospice, Reedley, for several weeks.
Other future events will include a Day of Daftness, a Bucking Bronco Challenge and a race night.
