WARRIORS tamed the Bulldogs with a brave display in horrendous conditions to win a keenly contested local derby. Falling behind 12-0, Warriors recovered to lead 28-18 at half-time. The Warriors always had to be on their toes to keep the Bulldogs at bay. Man of the match Scott Miller had a tremendous game, scoring six out of the nine Warrior tries.

SCOTT Miller scored two fine tries down the wings and the powerful running of Chris How scored the third try. Emma Fishwick put in some good tackles on her debut. Sam Rukin put in a captain's performance to gain man of the match.

A VERY close game which Warriors would have won if they could have avoided handling errors. Richard Brown scored in the last minute to tie the game after top tackler Michael Wallbank had made a 3-yard dash. Man of the match was Richard Brown and merit award went to Jay Florimo.

WARRIORS got on the scoresheet first with a try from man of the match Daniel Armstrong scoring from acting half back. Warriors' next try came down the left with a link movement between Jonathon Walker and Chris Tuson whose speed took him over to score under the posts, leaving Phillip Campbell with the conversion. In the second half Warriors put in one of their best performances of the season.

PENDLE PANTHERS 14
THIS was the Warriors' best game of the season, playing their best attacking rugby, scoring eight tries and six conversions against a well organised Pendle team. The work of the team was epitomised by the try-saving tackle of Allan Pollitt and Andy Ogden. Scorers included top tackler Andy Ogden and man of the match James Franklin.

WARRIORS played with a lot of spirit in difficult conditions and kept plugging away at the opposition to the end but couldn't get a result.
