I READ that Margaret's flower stall will cease to trade on Bury Market on March 16 but I cannot see why the powers-that-be are being blamed.
Market traders are allowed a certain amount of space to sell their goods and it would not be fair to other traders to allow this flower stall to have extra space. They all have to make a living and special consideration should not be given to one stallholder just because they have been trading for more than 100 years. Everyone should be treated equally.
By the way, I am NOT a market trader.
