JUDO expert and coach Mel Dodd is used to keeping his cool.
But his patience is at the limit because of repeat vandalism and break-ins at the community centre which he and like-minded volunteers have worked hard to keep open.
In the latest raid hooligans smashed a window, entered Tyldesley Voluntary Community Centre in Upper George Street and smashed their way out of a fire door.
Clearing-up and repairing damage after the latest attack Mr Dodd (pictured) said: "We're fed-up to the back teeth with it. We're a non-profit making volunteer group and we don't need this hassle.
"There's nothing inside the building worth the effort of breaking-in, but it means a lot of unnecessary work for us.
"We have a car park at the back of the centre but we've not been able to use it because the whole area is littered with broken beer bottles."
He says unruly teenagers who need more discipline are to blame.
He said: "I've had words with them about their behaviour. They spray obscene graffiti on walls but I'm told its called freedom of expression.
"They're just running riot. One of our coach's cars was targetted and £350 damage done."
