CALDER Vale yet again proved that no matter how poor the opposition they can be worse.
Due to no line-out possession and very poor ball retention - so poor that even Vale's Under-eights team would have been embarrassed -Vale's hosts were handed a somewhat easy task.
Young Thomas Galpin showed up well as he grafted hard on his first team debut, but his solo efforts proved in vain.
Calder Vale are currently playing as 15 individuals who look as though they have been thrown together on match day - a problem which could easily be redressed with regular attendance at training nights.
Captain Dave Collinge said: "I hope these poor performances will motivate players to show a little bit more committment, rather than just talking about it".
