KIRSTY McKelvey from Year 9 at St Mary's RC High School, Blackpool, writes:
TWO people from the SeaLife Centre in Blackpool visited St Mary's recently to talk to us about some of the environmental issues surrounding us.
The whole class joined in the discussion about the environment we live in. The visitors explained about a new project taking place and why they needed our help.
The class then split up into groups of four or five. Each group had a piece of paper on which they were to write statements about the environment which younger children could understand clearly.
Some of our Year 9 pupils read out their statements and had them taped to help with the project.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all who took part.
