A ST Annes primary school football team really look the part, thanks to the sponsors of the FA Cup.
Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School have received a new strip, courtesy of insurance firm Axa.
The team travelled with manager Sean Kellett to Blackpool FC's training ground last Friday, where Axa representative Martin Powell presented them with the blue kit.
Blackpool's first team players and manager Nigel Worthington took time out from training to meet the youngsters, who have lost just one match all season.
Dennis Duignan, chairman of the school's Parent Teacher Association, said: "We're grateful to Axa for sponsoring the kit and to Derek Spence, the community officer at Blackpool. He made the lads feel like kings.
"It's given them something to remember and it's certainly put smiles on their faces. I would like to thank everyone at Blackpool Football Club."
The kit sponsorship idea was hatched when Axa brought the FA Cup to the school last November to publicise a fund-raising cup draw.
Now the school is planning more fund-raising initiatives, including a bid for a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
Dennis Duignan revealed: "Later this year, we are hoping to break the record for the furthest you can throw and catch an egg without breaking it!"
