BURY businessman John Davenport has netted three goals in life.
Firstly, he was appointed sales director of DTE Financial Services, based at the town's Hollins Mount.
This is a high-profile, fast growing firm offering independent financial advice to individuals and companies.
Secondly, he has just made his television debut on the popular programme "Granada Reports" where he was commenting on pension planning and its importance to young people.
And his hat-trick came with the news John is on the short list for the highly coveted Planned Savings IFA of the Year Awards.
Having already presented his case study, he will find out soon whether its gold, silver or bronze at the awards ceremony in London.
