ROSSENDALE: Anne Riley of Chester Crecent, Helmshore, has become the 300th member of the Haslingden and Helmshore Credit Union.
The union has assets of more than £70,000 and growing at three times the predicted rate.
It is working with ELTEC towards achieving an Investors in People award for training provided for staff and volunteers.
The union is also providing information to two local junior schools.
