YOUR article, "I'm no cheat" (LET, March 6) stated I had raised £2,025 at the Griffin pub and £1,500 at the Beehive pub in Blackburn for the charity, Unique.
I would like everyone to know I had no part in raising the money at the Beehive. This was raised by Carol, the landlady and some of her regulars.
I would like to apologise to them all for the misunderstanding and thank them for all they did.
I am now collecting items for another auction and am hoping to beat the total raised last time. If any readers would like to make a donation, or have anything to give to be auctioned, I would be very grateful. I need all the help I can get.
