THE second stage of Burnley Festival brought singers, choristers and keyboard players to the town to show off their talents.
St Peter's School and Church provided the venues for the classes and adjudicators from Manchester and Edinburgh were brought in to assess the skills.
Chairman of the music section Gerald Britnell said: "It went very, very well indeed and the standard of competitors was very high.
"We had a very good audience at the festival concert on Saturday night when the winners of the competitions presented their pieces and we had play-offs for some of the trophies." RESULTS:
