LECTURERS in interior design George Grunshaw and Glenn Studholme made such an impact on a recent trip to Germany that they have been asked to make it an annual visit.
The two Accrington and Rossendale College tutors travelled to a college in Rossendale's twin town of Bocholt to demonstrate design and decoration techniques for more than 30 students and masters from the Guild of Mehlmeisters in Dusseldorf.
George, who counts former snooker world champion Dennis Taylor among his previous clients, showed how to produce visualisation drawing of rooms in watercolour and pen while Glenn produced four marble pieces in acrylic paint.
A spokesman for the college said: "The students enjoyed the opportunity to apply the techniques themselves and produced a portfolio of work.
"The trip was such a success that George and Glenn have been asked by the Guild to make it an annual event.
"It is expected to result in more exchanges between Accrington and Rossendale and Bocholt Colleges."
