THE recent incident between Robbie Fowler and Graeme Le Saux, does the image of football a lot of harm.
There's more to playing the game, than propelling a ball from one end of the pitch to the other.
As well as the obvious - training, rehearsing different moves, etc - it may be to the players' advantage to sit down, and thoroughly learn the rules of the game - that means all aspects.
It's a man's game, they will tell you - yes, but not to the point of losing all courtesy and respect for fellow professionals.
In a works situation, an employee would lose his job if he failed to carry out his job fully and show respect for others.
