TRAVELLERS made a last-minute retreat from a site at Duckworth Street, Blackburn, after an angry confrontation with bulldozers.
Sixty travellers, who came to Blackburn from a Lower Darwen site, threatened to fight digger drivers who were called in to move them off land owned by Rawlings building company.
