ACCRINGTON Stanley boss Wayne Harrison has a major selection headache ahead of tonight's UniBond League Challenge Cup quarter final clash with Guiseley at the Crown.
Ged Walsh, Paul Lynch, Aidan Warder and Paul Bottomley are all cup-tied while young defender Noel Warner is struggling to shake off a bout of food poisoning. But that's likely to give some of the players on the fringes of the first team squad an opportunity.
"This is what happens when you're down at the bottom but at least it gives one or two of the lads who haven't been getting in recently a chance," said Harrison. We had Guiseley watched on Tuesday night when they drew 2-2 with Colwyn Bay and they did look vulnerable at the back."
Ex-Reds defender Ian Harold has signed for UniBond First Division leaders Droylsden.
