BROWNIES raised £200 for brain injured tot Lauren Thornber, by holding a disco and jumble sale.
The group, which meets at St Edward's Community Centre, Darwen, handed a cheque to her grandmother, Lois Thornber, during their weekly meeting.
The latest fund-raising activity to be organised by the Thornber family is the auctioning of a signed Manchester United football and photograph through the internet.
A bid of £100 has already been made and anybody wanting to offer cash for the merchandise can e-mail them at chelle@onbeach.freeserve.co.u, or ring 01254 701143.
Information is also featured on Manchester United news site. The closing date is midnight, April 15.
Any money raised will be sent to Lauren at her home in Scotland.
Lois, 55, of Ratcliffe Street, Darwen, said: "Lauren has been very ill since Christmas, but we are hoping she can restart her therapy soon.
"We are very grateful for all the support we have received for the Give Lauren a Chance appeal."
