Accrington Stanley 1 Guiseley 1
BILLY O'Callaghan grabbed a dramatic late equaliser to earn Stanley a replay after a gritty performance against Guiseley in the quarter finals of the Unibond League Challenge Cup.
The Yorkshiremen looked set for the semi-finals after taking a shock lead with just six minutes of the tie remaining.
But Mike Langhorn swung in an excellent deep cross to the back post with two minutes to go, Mark Howard flicked it on and O'Callaghan made no mistake heading in from close range to set up a replay.
Guiseley just had the edge in the first half, but the Reds defended well with both sides having chances to take the lead. Guiseley's Steve Dickinson made two excellent saves from Paul Heavey and Billy O'Callaghan to keep the scores level at half time.
A 30 yard pass from Gareth Seddon saw O'Callaghan lay the ball off for Chris Ingham but he shot just wide of the upright.
Dickinson then fisted away a dangerous cross before racing out of his goal to thwart the in-rushing Seddon.
And Howard headed a Langhorn cross just wide.
A Benn Gallagher corner saw Andy Williams head wide with Guiseley pressing, then in the 84th minute left winger Colin Hunter beat two Stanley defenders on the left and crossed for Michael Morrell to head home off the post to give Guiseley the lead. But O'Callaghan had the last laugh.
