MUSICIANS at Park School, Blackpool, had every reason to blow their own trumpet when they were presented with their share of the proceeds from a recent music show.
Blackpool arts chairman David Owen handed over a cheque for £150 after the school had taken part in Schools Alive! at the Grand Theatre.
Park was one of several schools invited by the council's new Cultural Services Division to showcase their musical talent at the theatre.
Woodlands Special, Greenlands High, Claremont Primary, Bispham Endowed, Devonshire Junior, Montgomery High, St Mary's RC and Our Lady of the Assumption also took part in the show, which doubled up as a fundraiser for the schools involved.
