I HAVE written to The Journal before saying why I disapprove of the proposed bus lane, and I am, surprise, surprise, still of the same opinion.
I cannot think what has occurred to make me rethink my point of view. It has, in fact, been strengthened after learning about the proposed bridge alterations. These have presumably been planned and costed without any charge to the ratepayer, or do we normally have to pay for hot air?
What I wonder is the average cost per annum for estimating daft ideas and ill-thought out schemes?
In response to 'forward looking resident' (March 4), I second his opinion.
