THE postman is not my favourite visitor. He only brings bills and junk mail - which goes straight into the wheelie.
Another fed up Leigh recipient is so sick of being bombarded with rubbish she has dumped it onto me.
I don't know whose mailing list the poor woman is unfortunate enough to be on, but she is very popular with companies from across the Pond.
If she took any notice she'd either be a millionaire or broke - the latter probably.
There's an official guaranteed cash award winner notice for £3,000 from Ontario, an international cash and merchandise giveaway worth £379,308.55, all for £7.97, from Vancouver, a chance to win a share of £250,000 (for a £10 fee) from the Shawnee Mission - and so it goes on.
All I can say is take no notice of this trash and NEVER send money off for mystery items.
Remember you don't get anything for nothing!
There is a number fed up recipients can ring to stop junk mail - it's the Telephone Preference Service, ring 0800 398 893. Forms, which will be sent out for completion, are also available from BT shops.
So get ringing and stop the moider - and help save some trees.
