THE town's young footballing stars are on course for cup glory.
The St Helens McDonald's JOL under 12s squad defeated Bootle and Netherton 3-2 to clinch a place in the final of the Liverpool CFA Inter-League Cup.
However, the under 14s went down fighting against Maghull and Lydiate.
