THE cream of the UK's hockey-playing talent arrived in Leyland last week to do battle.
An England U15 girls team played a Scotland U15 team at Leyland St Mary's, Royal Avenue, last Thursday.
The tough friendly game finished 5-1 in England's favour, with both coaches saying the game had been productive.
Many of the players are expected to progress on to the full international squads in time.
